The I-765 for the student mentioned is currently outside normal processing times at the Vermont Service Center (VSC). At this time the VSC will honor your request to expedite the application.
Please know that the preferred method for requesting an expedite request at the VSC is for the student/applicant to make the request by calling the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.
The student should state that that they are requesting expeditious handling of an I-765 application because it is currently outside the normal processing times (ONPT) of 90 days.
When this method is used the application is reviewed within 5 calendar days.
接到Email之后，我立刻打电话给VSC。我说我的申请在90天之内还没有approve，我现在要求加急。对方给了我一堆理由供选择，我选了"USCIS's error"和"very emergent"两项。打完电话之后的第二天，我的status已经变成 card ordered，今天已经收到VSC寄来的approval letter。同学们可以先跟自己学校联络，然后再打电话给VSC，相信很快能收到approval的。
