解题技巧容易掌握
根据题干中确定的信息，寻找其和选项未知词汇的关系，进而根据具体的语言环境，确定答案，题干中的信息和选项的常见关系有：
1.并列或者解释关系，例如：

2.转折/强对比关系，例如：

除此之外，中学所学过的词汇，除个别熟词僻义外，如果在选项中出现，对的可能性很小。例如：

AC选项都不对。
考察词汇的重复率很高
根据统计，2006年1月 6个题的正确选项词汇在1997年1月到2005年6月的留级词汇考试中没有考过，仅占总题量的20%；32个选项此没有考过，占总选项词汇的26%。2006年6月六级考试中，词汇题的重复考察的词汇比例也高达80%。如果再加上最近几年在阅读中出现过的词汇和短语，再则重复考察的比例接近90%。
六级词汇题高分建议
1.从1997年1月至今的考试真题中的词汇题，认真做3遍。做第一遍何第二遍时，不要在书本上标注答案。核对完选项后，认真分析做错的题目的原因并记录，要搞清楚每一个选项词汇的含义，包括干扰选项词汇的含义。然后按照相同的方法做第二遍。争取在做第三遍时题目能够全部作对。这样，对于考试中重复考察的词汇和短语，就可以轻松拿下。
2.在阅读中消灭大多数六级词汇，特别是最近十年的阅读真题文章，包含了大量的六级词汇中的重要考点。
3.完成上述任务后，在六级考试前2个星期左右，浏览一遍六级考试大纲词汇表，查漏补缺，从而为作对部分没有考察过的词汇题进而取得绝对高分奠定基础。
