世博网10月9日消息：近日，美国参加2010年上海世博会官方网站发布消息，欢迎美国在校本科生或研究生，通过联系上海世博会美国馆和南加州大学美中学院的合作项目“校园大使实习项目”，报名成为美国馆的志愿讲解员，在上海世博会中代表美国形象。
根据要求，报名者必须是美国公民或永久居民，没有专业限制，能说一口流利的中文，有公共关系方面的经验、良好的人际交往技能以及对社会和文化多元性的积极态度等。
同时，报名者可以在2010年4月15日至6月31日或6月16日至10月31日期间，选择任意一段时间进行志愿讲解工作，服务期限为三个月左右，每周工作四天，岗前培训为2周。美国馆将提供来往上海的机票并负责在上海的住宿、伙食、交通等相关费用。

The USA Pavilion is inviting undergraduate and graduate students to serve as guides and national representatives for the United States at the 2010 World Expo, according to the nation's official World Expo 2010 Website.
US citizens or permanent residents who are able to "speak Chinese fluently" are eligible to apply through the "Student Ambassadors Internship Program", a partnership between the USA Pavilion and the University of Southern California's US‐China Institute.
Students with minimum grade point average of 3.0 from all majors "should be encouraged to apply," the Website states. Applicants should also have "experience in public relations, well developed interpersonal skills, and a positive outlook on social and cultural diversity."
Students will serve as guides for about three months, with an additional two weeks of training before starting. Work is divided into two spells, from April 15 to July 31 or from July 16 to October 31 next year. Guides will work four days a week.

Roundtrip airfares to Shanghai as well as housing, meals and local transport to and from the Expo site will be covered by the pavilion.
