(四)how引导的名词性从句
1.how引导主语从句

【结构分析】本句中It为形式主语，真正主语是其后how引导的主语从句，how the capacity suits one to answer questions，两个不定式结构to…作capacity的后置定语， questions后面的that引导定语从句，关系代词that在从句中作主语。

2.how引导宾语从句

【结构分析】逗号前为本句主干The Greeks assumed that…，宾语部分由that引导的宾语从句充当。that在从句中不作成分，翻译时不译出来。逗号后的which引导的定语从句修饰限定前文的thought，关系代词which在从句中作主语。在此定语从句中，又包含一个before引导的时间状语从句。在这个从句中，宾语部分由how引导的从句充当，how+adj。在从句中作表语。
