For example, the development of leadership skills occurs as students assume ownership for the success of their organization. For another, participation in extracurricular activities will enable students to develop a balance between academic accomplishments and social development. This necessary balance will greatly aid each student to more successfully encounter the challenges of our contemporary society. Moreover, participating in extracurricular activities could also boost students’ development of interpersonal relationship. The awareness of responsibility, cooperation, punctuality, and undependability are fostered as each student interacts with other members of their group.
