Nowadays every field of China is undergoing earth-shaking changes, and the IT industry is not an exception resulting in a dire need of talents of considerable size. I’ve gradually realized that the burden of a computer major, who is determined to contribute to this industry is heavy and the way is long. But I cannot, in the slightest degree, capitalize on my academic background that undoubtedly falls far short of the demand of this industry to realize my individual value. 　　In harmonious family atmosphere, I was educated and nurtured well by my sagacious parents. The form of address “infant prodigy” crowned my memory above the common run and gift for music. Before starting my formal schooling, I could know thousands of Chinese characters and recite hundreds of Tang poetries. Aged 6, I won the runner-up of Electronic Organ Performance Contest beyond all expectations as I learned to play the electronic organ without a teacher. Though my family’s livelihood got great improvement, the nearly 10 years of country life fostered my optimistic and unsophisticated personality. Later on, by right of my excellent records, I studied in key middle schools all along.

In 2000, the University Office of Student Administration set up a website and invited applications for some vacancies. Through highly selective reviews of many rounds, I got an offer of free employment to construct and maintain the website. In my second summer vacation, a voluntary team consisting of 6 members led by me headed for a certain primary school to spread computer science knowledge. At last, the local people’s computer skills were highly enhanced; in return, this activity won nod approvals from the superiors of the university.

　　Never bookish, in the spare time, I was actively involved in various organizations and activities. The Practice Department of College Student Union recruited me not long after my enrolment. In subsequent theatrical evening, the stage play-The Merchant of Venice that I wrote the script for and directed won universal applause. In my second academic year, I was elected Head of the Practice Department, then the Vice Chairman of College Student Union, and at last the Chairman relying on my outstanding organizing ability and leadership. During my term of office, all the activities, for instance, Computer Technology Exhibition, Theatrical Performance, Oratorical Contest, Sports Meet and the like, I planned and organized were crowned with full success. Besides, I had been Commissary in Charge of Organizing of my class for several years in succession. My duteous work helped to enrich my fellow students’ extracurricular life and widen their field of vision.
