In your response, you must demonstrate your ability to:
-organize ideas effectively in answering the question;
-draw requested connections between the lecture and the reading
-develop ideas with appropriate examples and explanation;
-display unity and coherence; and
-use English words and sentences effectively.
Your response is expected to have about 150-225words. It will be read by two qualified evaluators who will score it on a scale of 1 to5, with 5 being the highest score possible. The total number of points you earn for both writing questions, integrated writing and independent writing, will be converted to a writing section score of 0 to30.
First, you have
three minutes to read a passage that is 250 to 300 words long.
Then the passage will disappear temporarily while you listen to a short lecture on the same topic.
The passage will reappear later and be available to you during the writing time.

2. What do you have to do?

Keep in mind the general structure and transition words or phrases.
b.
Taking notes is what to write down the key words and information that you hear or read. It is an essentially academic skill. You may be required by the university that you are going to. How you take notes efficiently and effectively have been taught step by step, the process of which has been listed with following sample notes in each practice.
